CAROLINA CECA (España, 1979) es una artista y especialista en Arte Contemporáneo doctoranda por la Universidad de Salamanca. Desde que en el año 2005 se instalara en Yokohama y un año más tarde en Tokio, ha venido desarrollando sus obras entre Japón, España y, más recientemente, Marruecos e Italia. El resultado de estas emociones vividas en la distancia es una combinación entre la estética japonesa junto a líneas de dibujo occidentales. Sus últimos trabajos se centran en el análisis emocional de la condición humana, expresada a través de un estilo confesional. Partiendo de experiencias personales, trata de transferir visualmente conceptos universales.

CAROLINA CECA (Spain, 1979) is a visual artist, historian of contemporary art and PhD candidate at the University of Salamanca. Since living in Yokohama and Tokyo in 2005 and 2006, respectively, she has pursued the development of her personal style in Japan, Spain and, most recently, Morocco and Italy. The emotions evoked by residing in these different places have most evidently found their way into her artwork as the combining of Japanese aesthetics with the Western approach to drawing. At the heart of Carolina's latest pieces is a sensitive analysis of the human condition, expressed through a confessional method; that is, by rooting herself in individual experience, she strives to visually communicate universal concepts.
